About Us

Betty Bee Queen Company

Betty Bee is a traditional family owned and operated agricultural business -- the name comes from our grandpa. We focus on producing varroa resistant honeybee queens. We serve commercial size and small apiaries.

The genetics of our breeder queens is proven to help in the production of healthy bee colonies.

Betty Bee is located on the eastern shore of Maryland in Queen Anne's County.

Our Queens are typically available from mid-April to October.

Our resident apiarist and breeder is Dennis Helmer; Dennis has years of experience running large commercial bee and agricultural operations.
